On this day in 1917, Father Edward J. Flanagan founds Boys Town in Nebraska.

On this day in 2000, the United States Supreme Court announces it decision in Gore v. Bush, effectively giving the US Presidency to George W. Bush.

And, in Chuckery, Ohio in 1895, it was reported that Robert Hatton sprained his ankle last week.
