On this day in 1775, Patriot Patrick Henry exclaimed, "Give me liberty or give me death!" This was during a speech delivered in Richmond, Virginia.

On this day in 1909, former President Theodore Roosevelt left New York City for Africa on a safari that was sponsored by the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D. C. and the National Geographic Society.

On this day in 1965, NASA launched Gemini 3, the first two man space flight. The crew included Gus Grissom and John Young.

And, on this day in Chuckery in 1887, it was announced that Sunday School will be held at Lewis Chapel every Sunday afternoon at 2:00.
