On this day in 1721, German composer Johann Sebastian Bach dedicated six concertos to the Margrave of Brandenburg. These Concertos are now referred to as the Brandenburg Concertos.

On this day in 1958, Elvis Presley was drafted in the United States Army.

And, on this day in Chuckery in 1886, Miss Lizzie Bartholomai was in Chuckery to visit her aunt, Mrs. Rausch.
