On this day in 1852, the Studebaker Brothers Wagon Company was formed. This was a precursor to the Studebaker Automobile Company.

On this day in 1923, Howard Carter entered the tomb of King Tut.

On this day in 1937, Wallace Carothers patented nylon.

And, in Chuckery, Ohio in 1898, the Milford flour wagon passed through Chuckery.
