On this day in 1778, South Carolina signed the U. S. Articles of Confederation.

On this day in 1958, the US Air Force loses a hydrogen bomb off of the coast of Savannah, Georgia. This bomb is known as the Tybee Bomb.

And, in Chuckery, Ohio in 1895, Jackson William is on the sick list.
