Today in History - November 25

On this day in 1783, the last of the British Troops leave New York City.

On this day in 1864, a group of Confederate Operatives unsuccessfully attempt to burn down New York City.

On this day in 1926, twenty seven tornados strike the US on Thanksgiving Day. 51 are left dead in Arkansas.

On this day in 1983, I became the big sister to Priscilla Lynn Powers. I love my baby sister!

And, in Chuckery, Ohio in 1891, it was reported that $7.34 was made at the Oyster Benefit Supper at Lewis Chapel last week.
